Django turns 5!
Five years ago on the 21st of August in 2017, we welcomed our sweet bud Django Timothy Petrignani into the family. It’s been so much fun. He’s a blast, always ready for a laugh or for building something with LEGOS.
Here’s some fun facts about the number 5 (found on the Kidadl website) :
There are five Olympic rings, which represent competitors from five continents: the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
There are 5 vowels in the English alphabet, A, E, I, O ,U.
A limerick is a 5-line poem or joke.
The sport of basketball has 5 players on each team.
Starfish are born with 5 arms.
An earthworm has five hearts.
Humans have 5 senses - taste, smell, touch, vision, hearing.
In the story, David only had 5 pebbles for his slingshot when he killed the giant Goliath.
And Django had 5 candles on his cake this year!
Since his birthday was on Sunday, he got to celebrate in Sunday school with the other kids.
Game day to celebrate!
And we got to celebrate with the whole church after service. He was a bit timid.
He doesn’t like cake or ice cream, so I made a tower of Oreo’s. Ha.
After singing to him. I think I’m laughing because Tonio blew out the candles for him. I can totally relate my bud - it’s overwhelming.
Back at home, we were able to celebrate again. Three celebrations in one day. Thanks Caroline for the LEGO set and this cool robot.
Thanks so much Rob and Cricri for this super fun LEGO car!
Thanks Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tim for this shark puzzle!
And for the 5 American bucks!
And the Transformer!
Thanks Gloria, Luis and Emmanuel for the clothes and cars!
Thank you Jesus for providing for our family in incredible ways. We love being able to buy the kids presents. Daphné, Django and Emmanuel =).
The most fun part of a birthday party is playing with the toys you get.
I am so blessed by this boy. He teaches me so much about finding the bright side, shaking off the boo-boos and laughing to spread God’s joy.
