Beginning of 2023

Hello everyone, you’ve already enjoyed some posts from January : Daphné’s birthday and my reflection. Here are some of the fun memories around those things.

Kisanet interned with us for a month - it went so fast. Daphné really enjoyed her.

Enjoying some galette des rois with Cricri and Robie at their place. Rob’s brother Chris came for a visit too.

Robie and Django, the kings, with Queen Daphné. We definitely cheated. There’s usually only one crowned winner. Ha. And the kids and I didn’t know that this would be the last day we got to be with our Robie before he went to meet Jesus in February. We will always have such a fun last memory with him.

Rob’s brother was able to come visit us in Nice as well.

We had a visitor from the states, Rémi. He was one of the guys who helped Pierre get the whole Calvary Chapel Nice association started way back in the day.

Always fun to run into old friends at the library.

My cooking assistant.

LEGO store shenanigans.

If your teacher goes on strike, why not go to the arcade?!

A friend’s birthday party. They all got to design their own make-up, and professional make-up artists made their designs a reality.

Sending out our first workers!

Happy birthday to the beautiful Cricri!!! We love you so much. This woman has been caring for her sick Robie for months and months, yet she still has a gorgeous smile and generous heart to share in the midst of trials and fatigue.

We celebrate Cricri from afar. Sparklers are so fun!

Kiwico boxes are just the best!

Swings! There’s not many in Nice, so it’s always a big deal.

Family dance-off. Django is break dancing.

The parents’ turn. Haha! We had some good fun.

Love Linz
