Daphné Art (cont)

The continuation of Daphné’s art from the last post. To see the first post, click HERE.

Summer time.

Fun with paint and textures.

The Earth. The Sun. The Moon. Asteroid. The Space Series.

Geometric art.

Alice is one of Daphné’s good friends from school. Their teacher was sick for a few days, so they got to color a bit more with their substitute teachers. Daphné was NOT sad.

Watermelon mouth.

Hi Mamie and Papi. I love you. You are nice. Thank you.

I love her faces: the eye lashes, the hair, the noses, the mouths, everything!

She made herself an ipad. This might be the only one she ever has. Haha. Probably not, but hey, it works for now.

Disco cucumber.

More art from school.

Confetti and there is a party.

Super potato.

I think this was a Django commissioned project. He describes his dream, and she draws it.

Her art always tells a story. This one is up for interpretation.

The princess who was upset.

Lots of art started and not finished. I like how she is working in realistic forehead wrinkles. I wonder if she used mama as an example. Haha.

I am a marvelous creation. Psalm 139:14a

Fear not, I am with you. Isaiah 41:10a

I know the projects that I have planned for you. Jeremiah 29:11

I love finding bits of Bible verses written by Daphné around the house.

Tonio and Lindsey and their marriage. She got distracted with something else before she drew Tonio.

This was from a day she was at home sick. We practiced her spelling words.

Together Daphné and Django are 12 years-old, and me and Tonio are 81 years-old. Haha.

Cell phone.

Two characters from a story box that she listens to.

Looks like a pool jumping on a trampoline, but I have no idea. I don’t have Daphné at home right now to ask.

Bees.

She made this for Django at school. “For Django my little brother.”

This was a poem she had to memorize and recite in front of class. I won’t translate, but it’s about a witch. Each month or two that have a poem to recite in front of the classroom. We are proud at how hard she works on them.

Rainbow.

Circle rainbow.

These are all made with dot markers.

I think I even helped with this one.

Daphné is a child who asks us to print her more work to do, and she loves it! Can you figure out what she had to do here?

Same thing as above, but just a few extra numbers.

Practice with verbs.

There’s a lot going on in the picture. I love the sun wiping his brow.

Our family in Nice.

On one of our road trips in October, we played this in the car. Such a great game to pass the time. If you want to see more questions, you can find the link HERE.

She drew what she saw on our road trip.

Stickers from the Austria conference in August 2022.

This is from an old Austria conference, but I finally took it down and said good bye.

Lantern.

Pink on white.

Practicing lettering.

Mandalas are fun, but they rarely get finished.

Art from school. Can you see a geometric theme in this post?

Rainbow squares.

“Mom, can you print me a crown?”

LOL dolls.

This was a Thanksgiving craft. I said the kids could trace their hands and make a turkey. Daphné had other plans. I love her creativity.

Fire.

Foil paper from Grandma Kathy.

Moses craft from Sunday school.

Another old craft from an Austria conference in the past. It hung for years in the kitchen to remind us all to put on the whole armor of God.

Weird play-dough. I think it’s Pikachu from Pokemon.

Wold collage.

Antarctica. These are from her first grade class last year.

Oceana.

Asia.

Europe.

Africa. The Americas must have been lost at some point.

Congratulations, you made it to the end! Thanks for visiting our blog. It’s a fun outlet for me, and a great way to reflect on God’s goodness. He has truly blessed us with some incredible kids.

Love Linz
