LEGO by Tonio

Not only does my incredible husband redo kitchens, but he makes LEGO creations that are quite impressive if I do say so myself. I’m allowed to brag. Django sure does. He LOVES everything his papa makes him. Usually it starts something like this, “Papa, you make me a spaceship?” (high intonation). Tonio smirks, “Put it on my tab.” Haha. Then and hour or so later, out comes a masterpiece.

He has made so many more than this, but I only started taking pictures recently. And a fun fact, these are all LEGOS from when he was a kid. No instruction books, just a brain wired for engineering and a Django cheering him on.

Spaceship

Django was so excited about this one, and he couldn’t wait to give it to his cousin Noé. The spaceship now lives in Paris.

Semi

Django loves doors and hatches. This one could hold so many hot wheels cars. He loved it!

Rover

I think this has 4 hinged compartments.

Fire/Dumptruck

This one was solid. I say was, because these only last a few days before Django transforms them into other creations.

Speeder

Notice how the flaps retract and fold to fly or stand.

Spaceship 2

Turbo Blaster

Small but fierce.

Rover 2

Basically a rolling satellite.

Robot

“Papa, you make me a robot?”

I remember seeing Django’s wide, excited eyes after Tonio made this one.

Phaser

You might recognize the rainbow lights from the robot. Tonio made this gun for Daphné from some of the robot parts.

Bomber

The bombs are magnetic.

Transport

Anything that can transport hot wheels cars is a winner.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I enjoy listening to LEGO piles sifting, while Tonio and Django create together. Such a good papa. I’m so thankful.
