Grandpa Tim in town
The highlight of the new school year!!! Grandpa Tim came to visit for two weeks!!! Yay! It only took him two missed flights, a hotel stay in Montreal and two lost bags (that eventually came the next day), but he made it by golly, and we were so happy.
As he waited for bags that never came, we played charades through the glass.
Finally, he’s here!!!
The kids did not allow one second to pass before roping him into a puzzle.
It was really fun to have him walk to school with us.
And we took a father-daughter day at the sea. So great to catch up.
Daddy, doing the rock dance.
He also came after school to pick up the kids with us.
We would stop by church and see Tonio. Here my dad has given the kids ideas of what to draw. They loved the challenges.
It was hot, so laying in front of the fan was much needed.
Breakfast on the balcony with her grandpa.
Their happy place.

Gotta get a picture in front of the Negresco.
Church Friday night beach picnic.
I have a bright idea!
This face.
Reading nook with grandpa.
He took our stand-up paddle board for a glide. Definitely different muscles than surfing.
I like feet pictures.
Tonio on the board. There were quite a few jelly fish further out, which made it fun to be on the board, obviously. They were beautiful to observe.
Captain Daphné.
All aboard!
After church chill time.
Walking down to the tram with his grandparents, just missing Granny.
A farewell lunch.
Sweaty faces.
I had to say good-bye here.
Thanks again for coming Daddy! I know it was a whirlwind of a trip, but we had so much fun with you. Love you!
