Books Tonio read in 2022
Without further ado, here are the books that Tonio read in 2022. He is a bigger reader than me, so don’t be fooled that he only read 12 books like me. The amount of articles and blog posts he reads a year probably equates to the double or triple of this quantity.
Foundation’s Edge by Isaac Isamov - After having read the first 3 books in the Foundation series in 2021, he finished the last 4 in 2022.
Foundation and Earth by Isaac Isamov - Book 5 in the series.
Prelude to Foundation by Isaac Isamov - Book 6 in the series.
Forward the Foundation by Isaac Isamov - Book 7 and the final one in the series.
Small Church Essentials by Karl Vaters - He said this has been a practical and encouraging book as a pastor of a small church.
Atomic Habits by James Clear - He read it once and listened to the audio book once. It’s on my list of books to read for this year. I’ve heard from many sources that it’s a good one.
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - This book is written by the same author who wrote The Martian. I never read the book but loved the movie. Tonio said the book was really great too.
La Horde du Contrevent by Alain Damasio - Given to him by a good friend who also enjoys science fiction, this book seemed to be a delight to Tonio. He couldn’t put it down.
Dune by Frank Herbert - These books are the inspiration for the Oscar-winning film Dune. There are a total of 6 books in the series.
Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert - Book 2 in the series.
Children of Dune by Frank Herbert - Book 3 in the series.
God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert - Book 4 in the series.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the books Tonio read in 2022. He also read a ton of commentaries in preparation for teaching on Sundays, but that’s a bit different kind of reading of course.
As always, thanks for being my blog friends!
