Jumpin’ January

Yippee! Here are some photos from January. Two more posts are coming with Daphné’s birthday day and then her party that happened a couple weeks after.

Daphné helping papa spread glue on the wall in Mamie and Papi’s guest room.

Installing sound panels. Django is a good helper too.

Ladders!

Tonio installing the last piece.

All done!

Sunday school. Daphné is always good at rounding up friends.

Emmanuel, Daphné and Mila.

A big Django hug for Inès.

Mila and Daphné.

Hot chocolate and Italian sodas after church.

Park near Daphné’s rock climbing gym.

Speech therapy with Hannabelle.

Django found his ride. His name was all over it…haha!

Playing at the park after school.

Little angel.

Daphné and I like our friend Rodlhann’s classic car.

Daphné knew I was watching her on the camera, so she made a funny face for me.

We are living in interesting times, aren’t we? I keep being reminded that God’s grace is sufficient for every moment. If you have kids, you are probably juggling classes closing, doing Covid tests, taking care of sick kids… it’s tiring. It’s also a season. If you don’t have kids or if your kids are out of the house, you are juggling all the questions of how to best take care of yourself in these unpredictable times. It’s tiring. It’s also a season.

This song has been such comfort to me in the past few days. The first time I heard it, I burst into tears being reminded that Jesus has never left me and never will. He is with me. He is with you. TAKE HEART by Matthew West.

Take heart my friends,

Love Linz
