Christmas Gift Guides

I like sharing things that are fun and helpful to me, and I asked Tonio if he had anything to share… he does! Lucky you guys. We will be sharing:

1) a prayer,

2) The Lazy Genius Holiday Gift guide (from me),

3) Risen Motherhood Christmas gift guide (from me)

4) The Kid Should See This gift guide (from Tonio),

5) Outside gift guide (from Tonio) and

6) an app to organize your gift lifts.

So, to begin, a prayer :

1) “Therefore, before we venture this day to shop,

Seeking things necessary for the care of body

And soul, center our hearts again

In the knowledge of who You are,

And of who we are in You,

That we might engage in our commerce,

Not as unquestioning consumers,

But as conscious curators of Your blessings.”

-Every Moment Holy by Douglas Kaine McKelvey

2) Here’s a super fun gift guide. This gal has a really fun podcast I listen to, called “The Lazy Genius” and a great book that I read, called “The Lazy Genius Way.” I highly recommend both. She is extremely gifted in helping you organize your life in a way that matters to YOU.

So, again, here is the Lazy Genius gift guide. You’ll find sections for Readers, for Game Night, for Kiddos and Teens, for the Home, for the Body and for Dudes. Enjoy!

3) Here is another great gift guide. Risen Motherhood also has a podcast that I enjoy, called “Risen Motherhood.” I highly recommend it if you are a mama and love Jesus. It is super encouraging and uplifting.

So, again, here is the Risen Motherhood gift guide. You’ll find sections for Her, for Him, for Babies and Toddlers, for Children (ages 3-5), for Children (ages 6+), for Pre-teens/Teens, for Communities, for Readers and for Advent. Enjoy!

4) Here is the gift guide from The Kid Should See This. Tonio shared this one. If you have never been to their website before, check it out here. They have so many amazing curated videos for kids.

So again, here is The Kid Should See This gift guide. You’ll find sections for Books, Toys, Games, Biographies, Crafts, even Adults and more. Enjoy!

5) Here is the Outside Online gift guide that Tonio wanted to share. It looks like great stuff for ideas for those loved ones who enjoy being active and being outdoors.

So, again, here is the Outside Online gift guide. You’ll find sections for Health & Fitness, Adventure, Tech, Food & Drink, Travel and Style. Enjoy!

6) And here’s a super handy app, called The Christmas Gift List Tracker. You can enter websites, gifts you want to buy, gifts you already bought, prices, notes, etc. You can even sync with other users. Tonio and I have ours synced to stay on the same page. [a little side-note, there was a tiny glich when T and I synced our apps… it doubled and tripled some of the gifts I had already entered, but super easy to just delete the extras and re-sync.]

It’s free, and I’m already enjoying how organized and less scatter-brained I feel. Enjoy!

May your gift buying this season be but an extension of the joy, love and peace given to us by Jesus, who is our ultimate Gift.

Love Linz and Tonio
