The month of the great caterpillar sting and the beginning of “getting cozy” at home for a few months. I tried to narrow it down to 20 photos, but I couldn’t help myself… I give you 35 photos from March 2020. If all goes well, and I stay disciplined, I will finish through October 2020 by the end of next week. There, I said it… now I will feel the accountability to get to work. =)
Aunt Becky - Lots of drawing and crafts and even a “Coronavirus Play” staring Madame Corona. Haha! (this may have been from February.)
I got to lead our first (and last) women’s Bible study. We started with worship and then studied the book of James, chapter 1, rejoicing in trials. Little did we know that we would all be confined to our homes for the next 2 months - talk about a great time to have this message in our hearts, rejoicing in trials.
The whole crew - not everyone could make it, but there was a fun turnout. I’m so thankful for my “sisters” at Calvary Chapel Nice.
Bus rides are always a blast with these two, especially when we find seats.
Enjoying her new bike from Tata Cricri and Tonton Robie. It was a Christmas gift, but Amazon was bit delayed. Belated gifts are the best!

Daphné has a natural gift with kitty cats. She’s so gentle.
Rash from a caterpillar encounter. She found one in her school courtyard and put it in her pocket. She must have touched her face directly after. Antihistamines were our friends for the days to follow.
Her puffy hands - poor thing. She was miserable with itching and pain.
Her hands got better to help Mamie Nancy and Papi Pierre make this incredible castle.
This was our last outing before we had to get back to our homes for a confinement that was to last from March 17th to May 11th, 2020. 55 days.
Home schooling started strong and last 2 days. Hahaha!!!
Making the most of our 1-hour a day outings. We had to have a signed permission slip with the date and time if we wanted to go anywhere. And we had to stay within a 1-km (2-mile) radius from our home.
Such a blessing to have a beautiful grassy area in our residence that we could enjoy all day long if we wanted without a permission slip.
Recording worship for church. Our living room turned into a recording studio a couple times a week. I’m thankful Tonio is so gifted with all things sound and technology.

The apartment complex next to us had a little play area that we took advantage of during our 1-hour outings. Spring flowers and dandelions brought us much joy.

Cyberspace church lasted many weeks, but we all made the best of it. We knew God was (and is) in control, so we just had to ask for daily patience and creativity. He answered these prayers, though it wasn’t always easy.
