June 2020

The month we had to cancel our trip to California. So hard. But, we tried to find the blessings. It was month of lots of sea, outdoors, crafts, creativity and even bird rescue… The most exciting part of this month was Tonio’s brother’s wedding, which we would not have been able to go to, had we been in the states. So, God is faithful, like always, and He blessed our staying abundantly.

We know He has great plans and a perfect time for us to visit my family. Seb’s wedding will require a whole blog post, so I give you June before the wedding. Enjoy these precious moments with me.

I received this gorgeous picture of my sister’s kids, my nieces, Rowyn and Rocky and nephew, Rowdy. I can’t wait to meet Rowdy and Rocky, finally, in person one of these days.

Feeding her little birdie that they found at Pierre and Nancy’s house. I can’t remember the whole story, but the birdie eventually felt strong enough to fly away.

This is a cornstarch weird solid-liquid substance that is strange and super addicting to play with. It is called Oobleck, which is a borrowed name from a Dr. Seuss book called, “Bartholomew and the Oobleck.”

This boy found this sound “toy” of Tonio’s and just chilled on the balcony for quite a while making music, bobbing his head and smiling with delight. Our children have music and rhythm in their blood. So much fun to nurture and encourage!

At one of our favorite places called, “Les Bois des Lutins” (The Dwarf Woods). We’ve only been a few times, but it’s pure joy every time, even for mama. I love playing in these things.

I tried spinning him so he could power the wheel, but it was a bit overwhelming. Maybe next visit.

Then, they dunked it in soapy water representing being made pure and holy because Jesus died on the cross for our sins, your sins too.

“For God so loved the world (every person on this planet), that He gave His only Son (Jesus) that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life” (meaning we get to live for eternity with Jesus in heaven)! -John 3:16

Thanks for journeying with me. Memory lane becomes less foggy the closer we get to the present. Stay tuned for our trip to Paris and my brother-in-law’s wedding to a very amazing girl.
